I was halfway through a text conversation with a friend last week when the email arrived to tell me I had been selected as a Salesforce MVP.
I admit I used some colourful language when it came in and I felt such a sense of pride and happiness to receive such formal recognition from Salesforce. The interesting thing is that Salesforce became such a comfort to me in the last few years that it seemed almost ironic.
I thought back to that morning at Salesforce West, just before Dreamforce, when I stepped out of the lift and heard the birds tweeting and saw the fireplace on the screen there and felt so totally at home. To be able to celebrate with the other new and renewed MVPs this year is a great feeling. Congratulations to all of you, and thank you for everything you’ve done for our friends in the Ohana.
To those who have nominated me, I can’t thank you enough.
